ROBO 410 Applied Artificial Intelligence for Robotics and Mechatronics

This course introduces modern AI techniques in robotics and mechatronics, focusing on machine learning, generative AI, algorithms, and simulation. Students will build and test AI-driven robotic behaviors in simulated environments, applying methods such as deep learning, probabilistic inference, and planning. Emphasis is on practical evaluation, real-world applicability, and ethical deployment, two hours lecture and two hours lab.
