PS 336 Western European Politics

This course introduces students to political institutions and developments in Western Europe. Students will gain familiarity with political systems in countries such as the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, as well as with the politics of the region as a whole. Topics include democratization, elections and party systems, the European Union, and the welfare state.
