ME 403 Aerospace Control Systems

Analysis of feedback control systems used in aerospace applications. Review of stability analysis, root locus design, Lead-lag, PID compensators. Frequency response, Bode plot, Nyquist stability criterion, Nyquist plot, autopilot stability and command augmentation systems, introduction to modern control theory, linear state feedback, linear quadratic regulators, and other aerospace control system design considerations. Digital implementation, hardware considerations.
