Geography Elementary Education

This major is designed for students who wish to teach at the Elementary School level (Grades 1-6).  The program includes a pre-professional program in which students declare a major content area in preparation for the professional education program.  The geography major content area provides students with a holistic, liberal education that integrates the study of human activity and the natural environment.  A minor is not required.
